EXTRAMERCOSUR TWO SEMESTERS

2. If you are applying to study at the USAL for two semesters (up to 12 months)

Migratory Status: Residencia Transitoria Especial, for one year (for the period of study).

Documents that you must bring from your country:
A report of good conduct from the country of residence and from the countries where you have lived in the last FIVE (5) years. This document must be legalized by the Argentine consulate or certified with the Apostille of The Hague. In the case that the country does not issue such a certificate, a consular note stating this fact must be submitted.

Once in Argentina, you must obtain a local report of good conduct and request the transitory residence at the National Migrations Department. The USAL will assist students throughout this process. Detailed information will be given during the International Students Orientation.
