Student visa IS NOT required
before leaving your country.
You MUST apply for a Transitory Residence in Argentina.

Migratory status: Residencia Temporaria for two years.

Documents that you must bring from country of origin: A report of good conduct from the country of origin and from the countries where you have lived in the last THREE (3) years. This document must be legalized by the Argentine consulate or certified with the Apostille of The Hague. In the case that the country does not issue such a certificate, a consular note stating this fact must be submitted.

Once in Argentina, you must obtain a local report of good conduct and request the transitory residence at the National Migrations Department. The USAL will assist students throughout this process. Detailed information will be given during the International Students Orientation..
